Background Introduction
 
At the end of December 2019, some medical institutions in Wuhan had successive cases of unexplained pneumonia. The clinical manifestations of the cases were mainly fever, a few patients had difficulty breathing, and chest radiographs showed infiltrative lesions of both lungs. As of 21:00 on January 7, 2020, the testing laboratory obtained the whole genome sequence of the virus, and its sequence information is different from all the viruses that have been discovered before. On January 12, 2020, China and the World Health Organization (WHO) shared the whole genome sequence of the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV). WHO has named the virus detected this time as 2019-nCoV (2019 new coronavirus).
 
After the sequence was announced, Jiangsu Hongwei Tesi Medical Technology Co., Ltd. combined with its own technical advantages and successfully developed a rapid nucleic acid detection kit for the new coronavirus based on its own scientific research institutions in the United Nations. The kit is based on the enzyme probe constant temperature of the company's independent intellectual property rights. Compared with Real-time RT-PCR, EPIA: 1) Because of its rapid response, the detection sensitivity is about 2-10 times behind Real-time RT-PCR. 2) But because multiple pairs of primers amplify the same target, EPIA detection has a high specificity; 3) EPIA has low requirements on equipment and scenes.
